GAYLE ROGERS
Resident Artist & Gallery Manager

Gayle manages the Workers Gallery; curating exhibitions, overseeing the residency programme & participatory creative workshops on & off site. As an artist she specialises in narrative art and comics/cartoons. She combines her art with her sports history and commemoration research.
In 2023 she was commissioned by the Football Association of Wales to create artwork for the new FAW Women's Cup with trophy makers Inkerman, London.
Her community-focused work around family, memory, commemoration and reminiscence includes touring shows and archives to people in their homes and leading creative workshops.  
As a keen cyclist she introduced cargo e-bike-powered exhibition tours & art deliveries in 2021.
