Tank Tops & Tortoises Creative Workshops

Create tortoise themed art with resident artist Gayle Rogers and/or design a 1970's style tank top. Go retro and have fun with our seventies themed creative workshops. Using the June Street, 1973 exhibition and 1970's books, portraits and memorabilia, get inspired to create a design for a seventies tank top using the various art materials provided. Enjoy hands- on crafting to create a tortoise to add to our tortoise collection in the main gallery window. Materials for creating 3-D cardboard tortoises are provided. Choose your date - and register on a pay what you want basis. Dates are October Saturday 19th 1-4 pm or Wednesday 23rd 7-9 pm. All Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult.
