Photocopying & Foodbank Donations
We are very sorry that we unable to offer a photocopying service as the gallery is closed.
We are also unable to operate as a collection point for the Rhondda Foodbank at this time. Local people can access information from the local authority here
We work closely with the Rhondda Creative Community Group (RCCG) as well as with other local & national groups, charities, schools and societies to host events, exhibitions & workshops in the gallery and beyond.
You can stay in touch with RCCG
use #RhonddaCreative via facebook twitter & Instagram
The Art Box Tour of David Hurn's Ynyshir 25 mile Radius exhibition was supported by RCCG volunteers & David Hurn. See film about this pilot project by Lucy Jane Purrington here.
The Rhondda Creative Community Group includes:
The Knit & Sew Wot! group is a weekly social mingle with textiles, where people can work together on a group project or bring along their own knitting or sewing.
Ffoto Bach (formerly Little Jims) is a social documentary photography group for young people and families who work with photography volunteers and community members to document their local area through their own eyes.
The Photography Steering Group is a group of volunteer professional and amateur photographers who organise photography days, festivals, exhibitions and events to promote photography in and of the community around the Workers Gallery.
Art, Crafts and Design family-focused workshops promoting activities to enhance creativity & encourage a community of artists of all ages to share their work & spend time together indoors & out.
We are a collection point for the Rhondda Foodbank and we encourage visitors to bring donations - tinned tomatoes & long life juices are especially needed at this time.
