Throughout the year, we have had exciting community projects available for you to join in with! In 2021 we hope that this will continue as we have some big plans!

Join resident artist Gayle Rogers' 'A Road to Change' Art Challenge.

As part of this year's international Big Draw Festival and inspired by the 'Climate for Change' theme use participants used their drawing skills to be part of positive change!

Although the project has ended you can still purchase a Drawing kit  and have a go at being creative at home ( or send a kit to a loved one). An exhibition of some of the artwork created is set for December 2020.

Many of you were inspired by exhibiting artists Tracey Leonard and Lucy Jane Purrington. For those unable to make their show the virtual tour of their ADLAIS / ECHO show was really appreciated. So many of you sent in your photographs of the Rhondda to the Rhondda Creative Facebook page for the chance to be to be featured as a winning photographer! Ongoing project updates are available at the RCCG Facebook page

We work closely with the Rhondda Creative Community Group (RCCG) & other local & national groups, charities, schools & societies to host events, exhibitions & workshops in the gallery and beyond. Many are active online during lockdown.

You can stay in touch with RCCG  via their facebook  twitter & Instagram  accounts

You can view 'The Art Box Tour of David Hurn's Ynyshir 25 mile Radius Exhibition' (supported by RCCG volunteers & David Hurn) film by Lucy Jane Purrington here.

Sadly, community events and workshops in the gallery

are currently postponed until further notice.
